40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.
This scripture is so powerful. It reveals to us that God’s presence, His Glory, and supernatural instances are all synonymous! You cannot have His presence without experiencing His Glory and you cannot experience His Glory without witnessing His supernatural power!
In this story Lazarus has died and has been buried for 4 days and Martha tells Jesus that if He had been there her brother would not have died. Jesus reminds her of what He said when she first made this statement: 40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”
This is so thick with the awesomeness of God that I will not do it justice to try to continue to explain but one thing that I do know is that wherever God’s Glory is…miracles, signs & wonders happen. Wherever God’s Glory is sicknesses and diseases are cured. Wherever God’s Glory is demons are cast out. Wherever God’s Glory is the dead is resurrected!!!
Get in God’s Presence! Receive His Glory! Go out and share the good news and back it up with a powerful display of God’s power! That’s what we are all called to do! So let us do it!
YES even TODAY these things can happen and it is your duty!
7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 theywill take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
So What Are You Waiting For?
